Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis is a tool that allows for review of vast amounts of data combined into a single map. The analysis can identify potential issues and allows for the efficient creation ofsolutions. GIS is the right tool for large-scale analysis of environmental data. We have been utilizing GIS to analyze regional land issues such as wetland impacts for large acreage projects in excess of 10,000 acres. GIS also allows for the efficient creation of high quality figures and maps for documentation and presentations.
