Listed Species Surveys

Harnden Environmental has completed hundreds of surveys for a multitude of listed species including gopher tortoises, scrub jays, raptors, and other protected species. 

Our biologist is a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Gopher Tortoise Authorized Agent.  We can complete surveys, permitting, and tortoise relocations.  We have successfully completed hundreds of burrow excavations and relocations of tortoises statewide.

We provide Florida scrub jay surveys to document the presence of jays, assess potential impacts, and monitor populations. 

Harnden Environmental has also completed many seagrass surveys within Florida estuaries.  This allows for the avoidance of these valuable aquatic resources.
